Terms of Service, Privacy Notice & Subscription Policy
Legal version: 1.0.0
Last updated:
Effective date: [INSERT EFFECTIVE DATE BEFORE PUBLICATION]
Draft for preparation: the operator identity, postal address, grievance officer and effective date below must be completed before this document is published as the governing policy.
Read this before using QrToss
Use QrToss carefully and at your own risk, subject to the rights and responsibilities that applicable law does not allow anyone to exclude. QrToss is a temporary file-transfer service. It is not a backup service, a permanent archive, an antivirus service or an end-to-end encrypted vault.
You must verify recipients, protect your accounts and devices, keep independent backups, and assess files before opening them. Files and QR links expire. A recipient can retain or redistribute a downloaded copy. No online service can promise that an account will never be hacked, that a file will never be misused, or that data will never be lost or exposed.
Paid subscriptions renew unless cancelled through the subscription controls. Payments are normally non-refundable for change of mind or non-use. Billing errors, service deficiencies, approved exceptions and refunds required by law are addressed in Section 11. Discretionary refunds do not include additional compensation; mandatory legal remedies remain available.
If you do not understand a provision, ask for clarification at titanbuiltapps@gmail.com before accepting it. Do not accept a version you have not had the opportunity to read.
1. Operator and contact details
These terms apply to QrToss, its official website and related file-transfer, account, support and subscription functions, together called the “Service.” “Titan Built Apps,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the legal operator identified below. “You” means the person using the Service or the organisation that person is authorised to represent.
- Business / trading name
- Titan Built Apps
- Legal operator / proprietor / registered entity
- [INSERT FULL LEGAL NAME AND LEGAL FORM]
- Business contact / registered address
- [INSERT FULL POSTAL ADDRESS], Tamil Nadu, India
- Support, privacy and billing email
- titanbuiltapps@gmail.com
- Grievance officer
- [INSERT FULL NAME], Grievance Officer
- Customer care and grievance contact address and telephone
- [INSERT POSTAL ADDRESS AND REQUIRED CONTACT NUMBER]
- Grievance email
- titanbuiltapps@gmail.com
The brand name does not itself establish a separate incorporated company. The completed legal operator details identify the contracting party. No affiliation with Google, Firebase, Apple, Razorpay or another provider is implied by using their services.
2. Agreement, eligibility and legal versions
You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter a binding contract, and permitted to use the Service under the laws applicable to you. If acting for an organisation, you must have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.
The agreement comprises the Terms of Service, Acceptable Use rules and Subscription Policy in this document, together with the price and specific plan commitments disclosed at checkout. The Privacy Notice explains personal-data processing. A specific written plan commitment controls over a general description on this page; mandatory law controls over both.
Acceptance must be an explicit action identifying the version presented to you. Merely opening this page, having an account, making an earlier acceptance or viewing a changed version does not by itself record acceptance of the new version. The acceptance record may associate your account identifier with the accepted version, acceptance time and the document presented, for evidence and compliance.
Each new legal version requires a fresh explicit acceptance before you continue using functions subject to the revised agreement. We will identify the revised version and explain material changes. We will give advance notice where required by law or appropriate for an existing paid commitment. Changes apply prospectively and do not retrospectively remove accrued rights or rewrite a completed purchase.
If you decline a revised version, discontinue functions governed by it. You can still contact support, request applicable privacy remedies, and arrange cancellation or resolution of an existing subscription. Declining revised terms does not itself cancel a recurring payment mandate or waive remedies for an unused paid period where applicable.
Agreement to terms is not blanket consent to every possible use of personal data. Where processing requires consent, it must be informed, specific and obtained separately as appropriate. Optional marketing or other unrelated processing cannot be made part of this acceptance by implication.
3. Service features and limits
QrToss supports guest workspaces and signed-in accounts, receiving QR codes, temporary file-sharing QR codes, cloud uploads, Inbox downloads, transfers between signed-in devices, activity information, notifications, account settings, device management, printable QR posters and supported paid features. Available functions depend on your plan, account status, browser, device, network and the recipient's eligibility.
- Free: currently up to 25 MB per batch and 15 sends plus 15 receives per UTC day. A batch means the combined size of the selected files. One MB means 1,000,000 bytes.
- Pro: currently up to 100 MB per batch, with no numerical daily send/receive cap under the current plan. “Unlimited” does not mean unlimited batch size, storage, bandwidth, automated use or immunity from security and abuse controls.
- Both plans currently have no separate file-count cap within their batch-size allowance. The recipient keeps their own applicable size and usage limits even when the sender has Pro.
- Free and guest receiving QR codes currently last ten hours, including time spent paused. A permanent receiving QR is a benefit of an eligible signed-in account with active Pro access; it is not a promise of lifetime availability after that entitlement ends.
- Daily usage resets at UTC midnight. Inbox expiry and clearing can use your device's local time zone; these are different deadlines.
- A printed QR poster contains a link, not an offline copy of a file or a guarantee of permanent receiving access. An expired, replaced, disabled or ineligible QR can stop working even if the printed poster remains.
Displayed current plan and checkout disclosures explain applicable commitments. We may adjust future plans with appropriate notice, but will not use this paragraph to evade a binding paid commitment. Quotas can be reserved when a transfer starts; a failed, expired or dismissed operation is not necessarily an unused quota. No transfer speed or uninterrupted availability is guaranteed unless separately agreed in writing.
4. Accounts, security and misuse
Keep accurate account information and protect your linked sign-in provider, credentials, recovery channels, browser sessions and devices. Use strong provider security, including multi-factor authentication where available. Sign out on shared devices and review registered devices. Never provide an OTP, password, payment PIN or recovery code to someone claiming to be support.
Guest workspaces use an anonymous authentication identifier; “guest” does not mean unidentifiable to the Service or its infrastructure. A guest workspace may become inaccessible after sign-out, clearing browser storage, changing devices or losing its session. Do not use it as the only record of an important transfer.
Notify us promptly of suspected account compromise, unauthorised activity or a lost device. Use available device revocation and provider recovery controls. We may ask for proportionate evidence of account ownership before changing access. We cannot guarantee recovery, restoration of deleted files or reversal of actions already completed by a recipient.
To the extent permitted by law, you bear losses caused by your credential sharing, an insecure or compromised device, phishing you fall victim to, an unauthorised disclosure you make, or another person's misuse outside our reasonable control. There is no automatic promise of reimbursement for a hacked or misused account. This allocation does not excuse our own breach of a mandatory security duty or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. File expiry and independent backups
Files are temporary and can become permanently unavailable. Receiving-QR Inbox files currently remain accessible for ten minutes after verified cloud upload, or until the relevant local midnight, whichever occurs first. A newly confirmed file-sharing QR currently lasts five minutes from confirmation, including upload time. Older links may retain their originally assigned deadline.
Save needed files before the displayed deadline and confirm the saved copy opens correctly. An expired card or history entry is a record, not a recoverable copy of its file. A reusable file QR does not create the same Inbox/history record as a receiving-QR transfer.
Access expiry and physical deletion are different operations. Access is intended to end at the deadline; storage cleanup can require retries or provider processing. We do not promise immediate erasure from every provider system, backup or log, nor recovery after expiry. This does not authorise retention longer than permitted by applicable law.
Keep independent copies of anything important. Do not use QrToss as your only archive or for emergency, life-critical or similarly high-risk communications where delay, disclosure or loss could cause serious harm. Data loss attributable to expiry, your deletion, failure to save, device failure or events outside our reasonable control is subject to Sections 20 and 21.
7. Acceptable use and prohibited content
Use the Service only for lawful purposes and only share material you are entitled to process and disclose. You must not:
- Upload or distribute malware, ransomware, harmful scripts, phishing material, stolen credentials, illegal sexual content, child sexual abuse material, or content facilitating trafficking, exploitation or serious violence.
- Infringe intellectual-property, confidentiality, privacy or publicity rights; impersonate another person; distribute unlawfully obtained information; or harass, threaten, defraud or spam others.
- Attempt unauthorised access, exploit vulnerabilities, evade access controls or quotas, interfere with other users, overload infrastructure, use deceptive payment methods, or manipulate subscription entitlements.
- Use bots, scripts, bulk automation or resale arrangements beyond expressly authorised functionality, or scan other users' accounts or links without permission.
- Send regulated or highly sensitive information without the required authority and safeguards, or use the Service where its temporary nature or security model does not meet your obligations.
You are responsible for your content, intended recipients and the instructions you give us. We may investigate credible abuse, preserve necessary evidence, restrict unlawful material, and cooperate with lawful orders. We do not promise universal content monitoring. Report unlawful material using Section 24 rather than downloading or redistributing it.
8. File ownership and service permissions
You retain your rights in your files. You give us and the providers acting for us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, copy, transmit, deliver, secure and delete your content as necessary to provide the features you request and fulfil applicable legal duties. This is not a transfer of ownership or permission to publicly advertise or sell your files.
You confirm you have the rights, notices, permissions and lawful grounds needed to share the content and authorise that processing. Sharing a file does not transfer someone else's intellectual-property rights to the recipient. Once another person saves a copy, expiry or account deletion cannot reliably recall it.
The QrToss software, branding, design and other materials provided by us remain ours or our licensors'. You may use the Service as offered. You must not imply endorsement, copy protected materials without permission, or circumvent technical protections, except where mandatory law permits the particular activity.
9. Subscriptions and payments
Pro is currently offered at ₹100 per month through Razorpay Subscriptions. Before purchase, review the total payable amount, any applicable taxes, billing interval, recurring-payment mandate and included features shown at checkout. No undisclosed charge is authorised by this document.
By approving a recurring subscription mandate, you authorise the displayed charges at the stated interval until cancellation takes effect. The mandate and available payment methods are administered by Razorpay, your bank or payment provider under their applicable terms. A test transaction is not a live purchase or evidence of a real-money entitlement.
Pro activates only after the Service verifies the appropriate captured payment and billing period. A bank debit, screenshot, pending payment, closed checkout or successful sign-in alone may not establish activation. Verification or provider communication can be delayed; avoid repeatedly purchasing while an earlier payment remains unresolved.
Failed renewal, reversal, refund, expiry or a payment-provider restriction may affect benefits according to the verified paid period. A subscription is attached to its account; access is not transferred merely because you use another account. Contact support about a genuine ownership or billing error.
Any future price or material renewal change will be disclosed before it applies, with notice and fresh authorisation where required. If a paid feature cannot be provided as agreed, available remedies are governed by Section 11 and applicable law.
10. Cancellation and paid access
Use the account's subscription-management controls to cancel renewal and verify the resulting status. If those controls fail, contact support promptly with the subscription reference. Cancellation normally stops future renewal while already verified paid benefits continue until their paid-through date, unless a refund, reversal or lawful restriction changes that entitlement.
Signing out, clearing browser data, closing a tab, not using Pro, or declining revised terms does not cancel renewal. Account deletion initiates subscription cancellation, but an unresolved provider process or charge already underway requires checking. Contact us if cancellation or deletion remains pending; do not assume a payment mandate has stopped until confirmed.
A charge already initiated before cancellation becomes effective can require reconciliation. Genuine charges after effective cancellation and unauthorised or duplicate charges will be investigated. Cancellation alone does not automatically refund a paid period. A refund alone does not cancel future renewal; manage the renewal separately or ask support to assist.
11. Refund policy and billing problems
Default no-refund policy: except for the exceptions below or rights required by law, subscription payments are final. We do not ordinarily refund change of mind, accidental non-use, unused quota, a mid-period cancellation, an expired file, failure to keep backups, failure to download in time, or an incompatibility disclosed before purchase.
This default does not apply where a refund or another remedy is legally required, including applicable cases of a deficient or misdescribed service. We will investigate duplicate or unauthorised charges, charges after effective cancellation, a captured payment that did not provide the purchased entitlement, and a material failure to supply the paid service as agreed.
For a substantiated subscription or service problem, we may resolve it through correction, restoration of the purchased benefit, a proportionate credit, or a full or partial refund, taking account of the facts and any remedy you are entitled to choose under law. Discretionary goodwill refunds may also be offered. We will not require you to accept a credit in place of a cash refund legally owed.
Contact titanbuiltapps@gmail.com with your account email, transaction/subscription reference, charge date, amount and a concise description. Redact unrelated financial information; never send a full card number, OTP, payment PIN or password. Report promptly, but no arbitrary support deadline in this policy removes a statutory claim period.
You may also use Razorpay support or contact your bank or payment provider about an unauthorised or unresolved payment, including any available dispute or chargeback procedure under its rules and applicable law. Keep supporting records. Contacting us first is not a condition that removes those rights; do not knowingly submit a false dispute.
Approved refunds are normally returned through the original payment route, subject to provider and bank processing. We will initiate them within the reasonable or legally required period and communicate the status; settlement timing can vary. We do not deduct charges from a refund where law prohibits doing so.
A full refund can remove benefits associated with the refunded period. A partial refund does not automatically shorten the existing verified paid period. A discretionary refund or credit is not an admission of liability. We do not offer additional discretionary compensation for inconvenience, lost time, lost opportunities or consequential loss. This does not exclude compensation, interest, damages or other remedies required by applicable law.
12. Privacy: information processed
Titan Built Apps is responsible for the personal-data processing it determines, subject to the roles and obligations that applicable law assigns. The Service and its providers process the following categories when the relevant feature is used:
- Account information: authentication identifier, sign-in provider, account email, display name, avatar/profile preferences, guest identifier, settings and account status. A provider display name or the part of your email before “@” can be used as your default display name; check it before sharing.
- Devices and sessions: browser and operating-system information, available device model, user-agent details, login and activity times, session identifiers and security/revocation records. Public network IP addresses are processed by infrastructure and, for approximate device location, by the lookup provider described in Section 14.
- Transfers: uploaded file contents, filenames, sizes, file-type metadata, sender/receiver identifiers, QR/link/session identifiers, timestamps, delivery/download state, quota counts, time zone and related access records. A filename or the file itself may contain personal information.
- Billing: subscription and transaction identifiers, amount, currency, payment/renewal/refund status, billing periods and receipt information. Payment credentials are entered through the payment provider; do not send them to our support team.
- Support and feedback: the reply email, chosen topic, message, ticket reference, correspondence and any attachments or information you voluntarily send. Optional deletion feedback is retained for statistics after the account linkage is removed.
- Operational records: request and error information, security and abuse-prevention counters, retry markers and evidence needed to investigate a problem. Once a legal acceptance feature is implemented, it also records the accepted version and acceptance time associated with the account.
Permission to use your camera is requested for QR scanning when you choose that feature. It is not permission for unrelated surveillance. The current scanning feature reads QR codes; it does not require microphone or precise GPS access. Only files you choose to send are intended to be uploaded through the transfer feature.
13. Privacy: purposes and legal grounds
We process information to establish and secure accounts, authenticate devices, display receiving details, deliver chosen files, enforce plan limits and expiry, process subscriptions and refunds, provide receipts and account controls, respond to support, investigate abuse, maintain reliability and comply with lawful duties.
Where applicable law requires consent, we will provide the required notice and obtain valid consent for the stated purpose. Where law permits another ground, such as fulfilling a requested service or a legal obligation, we rely on that ground only to the extent available under the applicable law. An “own risk” acknowledgment does not replace a lawful processing ground.
Information supplied for a transfer or support request is not a blanket authorisation for unrelated marketing. We do not obtain ownership of personal data through these terms. If a new purpose requires a new notice or consent, it must be addressed before that processing begins.
14. Privacy: recipients and third parties
- Google / Firebase: supplies the main authentication, database, file storage, hosting and server infrastructure. These services process account, transfer, technical and other information needed for their functions. See Firebase Privacy and Security and Google's Privacy Policy.
- Sign-in providers: Google or Apple, when you choose their sign-in method, process authentication according to their own notices. See Apple's Privacy Policy where applicable.
- Razorpay and financial providers: process payment credentials, mandates, transactions, verification and refunds. They may retain records under their own legal duties. See Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
- ipwho.is / IPWHOIS: receives the connecting public IP address for approximate city, region and country lookup during device registration. QrToss retains the returned location names rather than the raw lookup IP or precise coordinates. Infrastructure can separately process IP addresses in operational records. VPNs and mobile networks can make these labels inaccurate. See the provider's Privacy Policy.
- Resend and support email: support messages and reply addresses are transmitted through Resend to our Gmail support inbox. Message contents are not saved as support messages in Firebase; temporary anti-abuse and retry records can be kept there. Our email providers process and retain correspondence. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
- Security providers: where configured, Firebase App Check / reCAPTCHA Enterprise processes information to assess requests and reduce abuse under the relevant Google notices.
- Chosen recipients: the recipients you authorise can receive your files and necessary sharing information. People possessing a receiving QR can see the relevant display name and receiving status. Publicly posting a QR increases the audience.
We may also disclose necessary information to authorised personnel and professional advisers bound by appropriate duties, to a competent authority under a valid legal requirement, or to a successor in a lawful business transfer with applicable notice and safeguards. Disclosure is limited to a legitimate, lawful purpose. Provider policies explain their processing; they do not replace our responsibilities for processing we control.
15. Privacy: storage, security and processing location
Production Firebase functions and the main database/file infrastructure are currently located in the United States, with functions in Iowa. Provider operations, support email and subprocessors can process information in other countries. We will apply any safeguards or transfer restrictions required by applicable law; this notice is not a waiver of a mandatory localisation or transfer rule.
Browser storage supports saved authentication, preferences, QR previews and limited profile/history display hints. These may remain until their expiry, sign-out, account cleanup or your deletion of browser data. Clearing them may affect access to a guest workspace. Security providers and the Blogger host of this legal page may use their own cookies or similar technologies under their notices. Optional non-essential tracking, if introduced, requires the applicable notice and choice.
We use access controls and the security facilities of our infrastructure, including encryption in transit and provider encryption at rest. File transfers are not end-to-end encrypted. Encryption at rest or in transit does not mean that authorised processing or provider access is technically impossible.
Absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Account attacks, software defects, configuration errors, compromised devices, unlawful access, network failures and provider incidents can expose, corrupt or destroy information. We remain responsible for safeguards and incident response required of us by law and will give notifications to users and authorities where required. Outsourcing infrastructure to Firebase does not remove those duties.
16. Privacy: retention and deletion
Temporary transfer bytes and links follow the deadlines in Section 6. Access records, summaries, security counters, retry markers and related metadata can remain for their operational or legally required retention period after file access ends. Account profiles and preferences are normally kept while the account exists. Billing, support and legal records are kept only for justified service, accounting, dispute, fraud-prevention or compliance needs, subject to applicable law.
Signing out is different from deleting an account. The account-deletion feature initiates removal of the sign-in account, QrToss profile, purchase history, device information, QR codes and associated cloud transfers, and initiates subscription cancellation. A minimal security block can remain to stop old sessions regaining access. Necessary processing may take time and require retries; no guarantee of instantaneous deletion is made.
Optional deletion reasons and feedback remain for statistics without the account ID, name or email attached after completed deletion. Avoid writing personal information in that feedback. Free-text information can identify someone even after an account link is removed; you may request review of such information.
Payment providers and email services may retain their own records, and we may retain limited information where required by law or necessary to resolve a legitimate outstanding issue. We will explain an applicable retention exception when responding to a deletion request. Provider backups and logs follow their lawful lifecycle. Files saved by a recipient or stored on your own device are not deleted by QrToss account deletion.
17. Privacy: your choices and rights
You can use available account controls to change a display name, manage receiving settings, review devices, sign out and request account deletion. You can deny or revoke camera permission through your browser. You can also contact titanbuiltapps@gmail.com for privacy requests or complaints.
Depending on the applicable law and its commencement, rights may include information about processing, access, correction, completion, erasure, withdrawal of consent, grievance redressal and nomination of a person to exercise rights in circumstances recognised by law. Other jurisdictions may provide additional rights. We will assess requests under the law actually applicable to the processing and respond within the required time.
We may verify identity proportionately to protect you. Withdrawal of consent is available where processing relies on consent and will be made as easy as the applicable law requires. It does not invalidate earlier lawful processing, and some requested features may no longer function without their necessary information. Processing required by law is assessed separately.
Do not send passwords or excessive identity documents. We will explain any lawful refusal or retention exception and the available complaint route. You retain the right to approach a competent authority or forum where available; contacting us first is not a waiver of that right.
18. Children and other people's information
The Service is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not offer a child account or parental-consent workflow under this policy. A parent or guardian who believes a child has supplied information should contact us so we can investigate and take the measures required by applicable law.
Do not upload children's personal information or another person's sensitive, confidential or regulated information without the authority, notices, consent and safeguards required for that processing. Having a copy of a file is not necessarily permission to disclose it. If you act as an employer, professional or other organisation, you remain responsible for obligations relating to the information you choose to share; these consumer-facing terms do not automatically constitute a bespoke data-processing agreement.
19. Third-party dependencies and outages
QrToss depends on Firebase/Google Cloud and other providers, internet connectivity, browsers, devices, email and payment systems. We cannot control every outage, policy change, service suspension, bank delay, network fault or provider security incident. A third-party service can become unavailable or change independently of us.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not assume liability for events attributable solely to a provider or another party outside our reasonable control. We do not guarantee a provider's uninterrupted performance or that affected data can be restored. This provision does not excuse our own legally required provider selection, configuration, security, notification or consumer-remedy duties.
External links and QR destinations should be checked before use. Your separate dealings with a provider are governed by its applicable terms, but those terms do not remove obligations Titan Built Apps owes to you for the Service it supplies.
20. Service warranties and risk acknowledgment
Except for express paid commitments and warranties that applicable law requires, the Service is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. To the extent law permits, we disclaim implied promises of uninterrupted access, fitness for a particular high-risk purpose, perfect accuracy, permanent availability, complete protection against malware or account compromise, and error-free transfer or storage.
You acknowledge the foreseeable risks of temporary cloud transfer: account compromise or misuse, copied links, unintended recipients, malicious files, failed uploads/downloads, provider interruption, accidental deletion, expiry, corrupted files, data loss and unauthorised disclosure. You accept risks reasonably within your control and must take the precautions explained here.
This acknowledgment is not a release of every possible claim. We cannot use “own risk,” a third-party dependency, a refund rule or a disclaimer to exclude a duty or remedy that the law makes mandatory. You should evaluate whether the Service is suitable before relying on it.
21. Limitations of liability
Subject to the exclusions below and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Titan Built Apps and its proprietor, directors, developers, employees and authorised contractors are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special or punitive losses arising from use of the Service, even if that type of loss was foreseeable. Examples include lost profits, opportunities, goodwill, business interruption or the cost of replacing data where these constitute indirect or consequential losses.
Subject to the same safeguards, our aggregate liability for legally limitable claims arising from the Service is limited to the subscription fees you actually paid to Titan Built Apps for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. For a free account with no such payments, there is no contractual undertaking to pay compensation for claims that the law allows us to exclude. This cap does not prevent return of an amount that is legally required to be refunded.
These exclusions and limits do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. They do not restrict mandatory consumer refunds or compensation, privacy/security duties or remedies that cannot be waived, or a competent authority's powers. If a particular exclusion is unlawful, it applies only to the extent legally permitted; the remaining valid provisions continue.
No provider is automatically made liable by this document, and no individual receives personal immunity from their own legally actionable conduct. We do not promise voluntary compensation beyond an approved refund or credit, but will comply with remedies imposed by applicable law.
22. Claims arising from your unlawful use
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for substantiated third-party claims and reasonable direct costs caused by your unlawful content, infringement, fraud or deliberate misuse of the Service. Any contractual indemnity is limited to the portion attributable to your conduct and does not cover our own wrongdoing or a non-excludable duty.
We will give reasonable notice of a claim where possible, permit appropriate participation in the response, take reasonable steps to reduce loss, and will not impose a settlement admission or unrelated obligation on you without consent. This provision is not an arbitrary penalty or an unlimited duty to pay our expenses.
23. Suspension, service changes and closure
We may proportionately restrict access, remove prohibited content or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to address abuse, a security threat, unpaid or invalid entitlement, a legal requirement or a material breach. Immediate restriction may be necessary for an urgent risk. Where lawful and practical, we will explain the reason and provide a way to seek review.
Routine maintenance, improvements and provider constraints can affect features. We will provide appropriate notice of material changes to paid commitments or planned closure where practical and legally required. If we cannot honour a paid commitment, unused paid access and any legally required remedy will be addressed rather than automatically forfeited.
We are not liable for a failure caused solely by an event beyond reasonable control to the extent law permits, but will take reasonable mitigation steps. Such an event does not automatically entitle us to keep payment for a service we are legally required to refund. On closure, save available files promptly; temporary deadlines continue unless we expressly state otherwise.
24. Support, grievances and security reports
Send support, payment, cancellation, privacy, suspected compromise and content complaints to titanbuiltapps@gmail.com or use the Service's support form. Use a subject such as “Billing issue,” “Privacy request,” “Security report” or “Grievance” and include enough information to identify the issue safely.
The grievance officer identified in Section 1 handles consumer and privacy grievances. Where the Indian Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules apply, we will acknowledge consumer grievances within 48 hours and redress them within one month of receipt. A shorter period required by another applicable rule or lawful order takes priority. Provider settlement delays and ongoing investigations will be explained; they do not remove required remedies.
For unlawful content, identify the relevant link or transfer reference and explain your rights or concern. Do not attach illegal content unnecessarily. For a suspected vulnerability, provide a minimal description without accessing other people's data or disrupting the Service. Reporting does not authorise further intrusive testing.
Support cannot guarantee instant responses, file recovery or account restoration. Never disclose authentication or payment secrets. Keep a copy of your complaint and our reference. You may use applicable consumer, police, court or data-protection complaint routes without surrendering a mandatory right to do so.
25. Indian law, disputes and general terms
The agreement is governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. For disputes that the parties may lawfully allocate by contract, competent courts in Tamil Nadu, India will have jurisdiction. This does not exclude a consumer commission, regulator or another forum with mandatory jurisdiction, or require a consumer to surrender a legally available place of filing.
We encourage contact with support to resolve an issue, but there is no compulsory waiver of court access, mandatory arbitration or contractual shortening of a statutory claim period in these terms. Mandatory rights take priority over an inconsistent provision.
If a provision is invalid, the remainder continues to the extent lawful. A delay in enforcing a right is not automatically a waiver. You may not transfer an account or contractual rights without our permission except where law requires otherwise. A lawful transfer of the Service will not reduce your accrued rights or avoid applicable privacy notice obligations.
The provisions concerning accrued payments, lawful record retention, intellectual property, disputes and legally valid liability allocation survive termination to the extent relevant. English is the drafting language; translations and explanations will not be used to conceal a material term or override a mandatory disclosure requirement.
26. Acknowledgment for the displayed version
The following acknowledgment is intended to accompany an explicit acceptance action for this document:
I am at least 18 and authorised to use QrToss. I have had the opportunity to read the Terms of Service, Acceptable Use rules and Subscription Policy for legal version 1.0.0, and I agree to them. I have read the Privacy Notice. I understand the temporary file deadlines, subscription renewal and refund rules, and the account, sharing, security and data-loss risks. I will use the Service carefully and at my own risk to the extent permitted by law. I understand that this acknowledgment does not waive rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow me to waive.
Reading this page alone does not submit the acknowledgment, record acceptance or authorise a payment. Any separate consent required for personal-data processing must be presented with its relevant purpose and choice.
